Description: Game Warden Waller was ambushed and shot in the back of the neck as he patrolled the Ogeechee River. Two days prior, Game Warden Waller had arrested a suspect on a charge of violating the fishing laws and the suspect managed to escape from his custody. The suspect and his brother subsequently made several threats against Game Warden Waller's life. Bloodhounds searched the area along the riverbank where the shotgun shell casings were found and led law enforcement officers to a residence. Two suspects were arrested and charged with murder.
