Description: Deputy U.S. Marshal Wilson was fatally shot as he and Deputy Marshal William Stamper attempted to arrest a suspect wanted on charges in Virginia. Deputy Wilson was shot in the chest and died at the scene. Deputy Stamper returned fire and wounded the suspect and placed him under arrest.
