Description: Deputy Weaver was struck by a car while directing traffic at a minor accident scene. The accident occurred at Vineland Road and International Drive. The driver later claimed he was unable to see Deputy Weaver because of the flashing lights at the accident scene. Deputy Weaver was transported to the Orlando Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries and died the next day.
