Description: State Inspectors Wood, Durrette, and Frank Wood raided a local residence where they had found liquior violations. When they tried to serve a warrant for owner's arrest, suspect refused to open his front door or to come outside. Suspect ordered the inspectors to leave. When they refused, he shot Inspector J.N. Wood in the head, killing him instantly.
