Description: Officer Walraven was on patrol when he was approached by a man he had arrested for public intoxication two days prior. The man cursed at Officer Walraven and cried out, "I told you it was going to cost you and it is!" The man pulled out a gun and shot Officer Walraven several times. Officer Walraven returned fire, mortally wounding his assailant. Officer Walraven was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
