Description: Police Officer Weir died as a result of an automobile crash when the ambulance he was riding in collided with a patrol car at an intersection. The emergency vehicles were responding to a gunshot wound victim. The ambulance driver and the other police officer sustained injuries. Officer Weir died of a fractured skull. Inadvertent action.
