Description: Police Officer West was shot and killed after responding to a disturbance call. Three officers were dispatched to a location where a fight was occurring at a party and one or more of the suspects were reported to be armed. Officer West parked his cruiser in front of a SUV parked in the driveway. A suspect exited the SUV and opened fire on Officer West. The suspect then stood over Officer West and fired several more times. Officer West died of his injuries the next day. The suspect pleaded guilty to aggravated murder and was sentenced to life in prison.
