Description: Deputy Sheriff Watson was killed in an automobile crash by a drunk driver while responding to a call to assist another officer. As Deputy Watson responded to the call, with emergency lights activated, a drunk driver operating a pickup truck illegally turned in front of him and struck his vehicle. Deputy Watson’s patrol vehicle was pushed into oncoming traffic and struck another vehicle head-on. Deputy Watson died at the scene.
