Description: Deputy Sheriff Wahlenmaier was shot and killed while attempting to serve an arrest warrant on a suspected arsonist. Deputy Wahlenmaier and fellow deputies entered the suspect's residence when he opened fire. Deputy Wahlenmaier was fatally wounded. Officer Javier Bejar was shot by the suspect while responding. Officer Bejar succumbed to his injuries four days later in the hospital. The suspect was found dead in his residence.
