Description: Agents Wilson and Walter Gilbert were shot by a suspected bootlegger while attempting an arrest in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Agent Wilson, who was shot four times, died at the scene. Agent Gilbert was shot in the back and died at the hospital. The suspect escaped but was captured a few hours later.
