Description: Correctional Officer Wylie was accidentally shot when his shotgun dropped and discharged. Officer Wylie and two fellow officers were attempting to apprehend an escaping convict from the Steiner Valley convict farm when his mule stumbled and fell. Officer Wylie's shotgun dropped and discharged, shooting him in the stomach.
