Description: Officer Walsh was killed when his patrol car was struck by a hit-and-run driver. Officer Walsh was responding to a burglary alarm when his police cruiser was struck by the driver of a stolen Chevy Blazer. Officer Walsh received massive injuries when his cruiser struck an unoccupied crane lift. Officer Walsh was transported to a local hospital where he died shortly after arrival.
