Description: Patrolman Wallis and Sergeant O'Brien were on traffic patrol. While traveling on Kings Highway, the motorcycle skidded on a patch of mud causing Patrolman Wallis to lose control and hit a pole. Both officers were thrown from the motorcycle. Patrolman Wallis was killed instantly when the motorcycle landed on his head. Sgt. O?Brien, who was seated in the sidecar, was injured but survived.
