Description: Deputy Whitehead was shot and killed while he and other deputies were serving a narcotics-related search warrant at a local residence. As the deputies were executing the search warrant, the suspects opened fire. Deputy Whitehead was shot in the chest and in the face. He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
