Description: Detectives Williams and Richard Guerzon were shot and killed by a suspect who had stolen a weapon from the police department. The suspect, who took a polygraph exam at the station house, was being transported back to the Rikers Island facility. Both detectives were shot in the back of the head while the car was parked the shoulder of the road. The suspect fled but was captured.
