Description: Officer Weeks was killed in a motorcycle accident while entering the freeway in downtown Tempe, Arizona. Debris from a prior construction project was left in the roadway under a bridge where visibility was limited. When Officer Weeks approached the freeway entrance, he struck the railroad debris left in the roadway causing his department motorcycle to flip and eject him from the seat. Officer Weeks was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
