Description: Deputy Warren was shot as he responded to a disturbance call at the Log Mountain Caf? where a suspect was threatening the owner and brandishing a gun. As Deputy Warren stepped out of his patrol car and walked towards the caf?, he was shot in the neck by the suspect. Although mortally wounded, Deputy Warren returned fire and killed his assailant.
