Description: Deputy Whitney was responding to interview victim who had been raped. As she passed through an intersection, her vehicle was broadsided by another vehicle which failed to stop at the intersection. Driver of other vehicle was found to be under the influence of methamphetamines. Deputy Whitney's death resulted from injuries sustained in the collision. The driver of the other vhicle was convicted of manslaughter while under the influence.
