Description: Officer Wells and Officer Marcus Stiles were shot when they responded to a domestic disturbance call where a man and woman were seen arguing behind a laundry. When the suspect saw the officers approaching, he produced a shotgun and shot Officer Wells in the head, killing him instantly. Officer Stiles, who was also shot in the head, was transported to a local hospital where he died the following morning.
