Description: Patrolman Wilmeth was accidentally shot with his own gun when his pistol fell from its holster and discharged. Patrolman Wilmeth was on duty clearing a drain at the city reservoir when the accident occurred. The bullet struck him in the torso and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
