Description: Police Officer Willis was accidentally shot while off-duty by a second officer during an arrest attempt. The officers were in a personal vehicle when they became involved in a traffic dispute. The officers, who were in plainclothes, displayed their badges. As the officers attempted to arrest the driver for disorderly conduct, the suspect grabbed the officer who then struck the suspect with the weapon which discharged. Officer Willis sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was transported to the hospital where he died. Inadvertent fire.
