Description: Sergeant Weigand was killed in a motorcycle accident while escorting a benefit ride for the Blue Knights Motorcycle Club. As Sergeant Weigand escorted the riders, an oncoming pickup truck lost control on Route 234 and veered into his lane, striking him head-on. Sergeant Weigand was pronounced dead at the scene.
