Description: Investigator Walter was shot while attempting to serve a search warrant at a residence. Responding officers gained entry into the suspect' apartment and while gathering evidence, the suspect opened fire. Investigator Walter and a second officer were shot. Both officers were transported to a hospital where Investigator Walter died. The second officer survived. The suspect was killed an exchange of gunfire with officers.
