Description: Marshal Wilcox, accompanied by four other lawmen, went to a residence to arrest a suspect on a charge of burglary. When they called out to the suspect to surrender, the suspect fired one round, fatally striking Marshal Wilcox in the chest. The suspect was convicted of murder.
