Description: Deputy Wenner was on routine motorcycle patrol when the safety guard protuding from his motorcycle struck a concrete island which was being installed by a local construction company that day. Deputy Wenner sustained deep cuts to his throat, a skull fracture, and internal injuries. He died the next day from injuries sustained in the accident.
