Description: Chief Ware was shot at his residence when he was confronted by a man who was angry about a ticket that he had received for driving without proper registration. The man pulled a handgun and shot Chief Ware in the head and back. As he was dying, Chief Ware grabbed the gun and fatally shot his assailant.
