Description: Officer White was traveling at 45 miles per hour on his motorcycle in pursuit of an unidentified auto. As Officer White turned the corner he saw a car coming his way and slammed on his brakes so as to avoid hitting it. Officer White's motorcycle skid about 50 to s60 feet and then White and his cycle flipped over and flew into the car. Officer White sustained a fractured skull and was impaled on one of the handle bars of his cycle. He passed away a few hours later in the hospital. The driver of the oncoming car was charged with careless driving and manslaughter.
