Description: Officer Walsh was shot while off-duty as he attempted to stop an armed robbery. Officer Walsh had finished his shift and was at the BVD Bar and Grill with a friend when three armed robbers entered and announced a hold-up. Officer Walsh identified himself as an officer and drew his weapon. One of the suspects shot Officer Walsh in the shoulder and then once in the head. Officer Walsh died at the hospital.
