Description: Jailer Woodall and Deputy Glenn Wright transported a prisoner to the asylum in Austin. On their return trip, their vehicle lost a wheel and overturned in a narrow ditch. Both men were pinned under the vehicle. Jailer Woodall, who was the passenger, died of a broken neck. Deputy Wright, who suffered several broken bones, survived.
