Description: Denver Police officers were pursuing a robbery suspect who was fleeing in a stolen truck. Detective Wallis heard the pursuit coming in his direction, jumped from his unmarked car and was running across the road when he was struck by the suspect. Detective Wallis died at the scene. The suspect was shot and killed by Denver police officers after a chase and hostage situation.
