Description: Officer Winget succumbed to injuries sustained in a single-car ATV (all terrain vehicle) accident while on duty. Officer Winget was patrolling a remote area near the Stanislaus River when dispatchers received an undecipherable transmission from him. Officer Winget's body was located approximately 90 minutes later pinned underneath the department ATV.
