Description: Deputy White had transported a prisoner from his department in Panhandle, Texas to the Oklahoma State Penitentiary. While returning to his department in Texas, Deputy White was killed in an automobile accident. A drunk driver driving a tractor-trailer crossed over the median and struck Deputy White's department vehicle head-on. Deputy White was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
