Description: Corporal Wolf was shot during a routine traffic stop. Corporal Wolf was unaware that the vehicle had recently been stolen. When Corporal Wolf returned to his car to get his summons book, the driver of the car approached him and introduced himself as a former police officer and presented his credentials. Corporal Wolf let him into the car's passenger seat and as he wrote a warning, the man shot him twice. The man and his accomplice were arrested after bragging to an informant. Corporal Wolf's assailant was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. The second suspect served jail time and was paroled.
