Description: Special Deputy Marshal Poorboy and Deputy Marshal Whitehead were shot and killed by a posse of outlaws after being led into a swamp by a guide. The guide told the marshals that he would escort them to a whiskey peddler's camp, but instead led Marshal Poorboy and Marshal Whitehead into an ambush.
