Description: Patrolman Williams was shot by one of two gang members who were known to be involved in drugs. One of the suspects brushed up against Patrolman Williams to determine if he was wearing his vest. Since Patrolman Williams was wearing a vest, the suspect shot the officer in the head. The suspect was convicted of murder and sentenced to death.
