Description: Deputy Waters was shot and killed as he attempted to arrest a suspect who had been evading the law for several weeks. Deputy Waters had attempted to arrest the suspect as he exited his home. The suspect, armed with a shotgun, shot Deputy Waters in the chest killing him instantly. The suspect was caught and arrested.
