Description: Patrolman Watterson was attacked and stabbed when he attempted to stop a burglary in progress. Officer Watterson was on patrol when he observed activity in the rear of the meat market. Patrolman Watterson was struck over the head, then stabbed multiple times and died at the scene. The burglars were not apprehended.
