Description: Probation Officer Wehr was fatally shot as he transported a probationer to a work detail. Officer Wehr was shot in the head and chest with a concealed weapon. The probationer then hid the body and stole the automobile but was captured the next day. The probationer was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison.
