Description: Deputy U.S. Marshal Wells was shot and killed while serving an arrest warrant. Deputy Marshal Wells was serving a double-murder arrest warrant as part of a task force when the task force came under fire. Deputy Marshal Wells was struck in the neck and transported to the hospital, where he succumbed to his wounds. The assailant was shot several times and later died of his wounds.
