Description: Constable Whidden was shot when he answered a domestic disturbance call. Constable Whidden attempted to stop the attack by the man against his wife when he was shot in the chest and arm. Although wounded, Constable Whidden arrested the suspect and escorted the suspect to jail. Constable Whidden died of his injuries two days later.
