Description: Patrolman Wilding died while assisting other officers in the pursuit and apprehension of three teenaged armed robbery suspects. Two of the suspects were apprehended and Patrolman Wilding was in pursuit of a third when he jumped over a three foot retention wall, and fell fifteen feet down on the opposite side. Patrolman Wilding was transported to the hospital with severe head trauma and died the following day. The three suspects were charged with second-degree murder of a law enforcement officer along with other charges.
