Description: Officer Wurst and Patrolman Donald Aleshire were shot and killed responding to a "man with a gun" call. The mentally deranged sniper was shooting at schoolchildren. Officer John Holmes was also wounded and paralyzed in this incident before succumbing to his injuries 17 years later.
