Description: Deputy Warren and Deputy Albert Snipes were on patrol near the rail yard when they came upon a suspicious individual. When they stopped to question the man, he began shooting and struck Deputy Warren in the chest and abdomen. Both lawmen returned fire killing the suspect. Deputy Warren died of his wounds the following day.
