Description: Trooper Williams was struck in a head-on automobile crash while responding to a call involving an erratic motorist. Trooper Williams was headed towards the erratic motorist when that motorist crossed the grass median of the highway and collided with Trooper Williams' patrol car. Trooper Williams was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the other vehicle died at the scene of the crash.
