Description: Police Officer Winebrenner was shot while confronting an armed suspect while off-duty. Officer Winebrenner and several friends were at a local pub when a suspect became disorderly and was ejected from the pub. The suspect returned with a weapon and fatally shot Officer Winebrenner as he and another off-duty officer attempted to disarm him.
