Description: Special Agent Wooten was shot and killed as he attempted to arrest a speeding motorist who was travelling at over 90 mph in a residential area in Tulsa, OK. The car crashed into a telephone pole, and Agent Wooten placed the motorist under arrest. The man attacked Agent Wooten, took his weapon and shot him eight times with his own gun. When Officer L.R. Rogers arrived at the scene and exited his patrol car, he was also shot and killed (39-W: 8). Responding officers returned fire and killed the suspect.
