Description: Posse Deputy Sheriff Winter died of head injuries sustained the day before when he was thrown from his horse. Deputy Winter was riding his horse as part of the Sheriff's Posse in the Memorial Day parade when his horse bucked and threw him. Deputy Winter was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries the following day.
