Description: Special Agent Wischerth helped secure the site of the destroyed U.S. Custom House at the World Trade Center in the immediate aftermath of the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001. Special Agent Wischerth also remained at the scene to assist with search and recovery along with evidence recovery at Fresh Kills Landfill. Special Agent Wischerth succumbed to metastatic colon cancer on March 26, 2017.
