Description: Responding to a silent bank alarm, Lieutenant Yaros was shot during the intial exchange of gunfire with the suspects. Lt. Yaros was without backup. As he lay unconscious, the robbers stepped over his body as they began their escape. One, however, returned and shot Lt. Yaros at least one more time. At this time, two of the suspects are serving 60 year armed robbery sentences and the other suspect is appealing his death sentence.
