Description: Police Officer Yaslowitz was shot and killed while serving a warrant for aggravated battery. Officers arrived at the suspect??®s house to serve the warrant and found the suspect hiding in the attic. As Officer Yaslowitz approached the suspect, the suspect opened fire. Officer Yaslowitz was fatally shot. Deputy Marshal Scott Ley was wounded. The suspect barricaded himself and continued to exchange gunfire with the officers. Sergeant Thomas Baitinger was shot and killed by the suspect while trying to rescue the wounded officers. The suspect was shot and killed by law enforcement officers.
